  • SPNH isn’t an emergency service, but we can help you find the best support. If you need urgent assistance or support, please contact us by phone at 03 6339 2861 or by dropping into our centre.

    We will do our best to help you or connect you with the right support.

  • Many of our services are offered free of charge, such as literacy support, vegetables and bread and some community events.

    However, some programs like the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) or fitness sessions may have specific conditions or small fees.

  • No, you don’t need to be a member to attend most programs. However, certain programs may require registration or booking in advance to ensure availability.

  • You can book one of our community rooms for your event or meeting through our reception or by submitting a Room Booking Request through our website.

    Please note a small fee may apply. NFP’s are free of charge.

  • If you require assistance with specific needs like literacy support, digital support, financial or legal support, or accessing community resources, feel free to reach out to us directly. We will work with you to connect you with the appropriate services.

  • No appointment is necessary for general visits. Our doors are open for drop-ins, and you're welcome to stop by anytime during our operating hours.

  • Yes, there is free parking available on-site for visitors to Starting Point Neighbourhood House. Accessible parking spaces are also provided.

  • The Ravenswood Men's and Community Shed is a dedicated space where people from the local community can come together, work on DIY projects, share skills, and build connections. It’s a great place for fostering friendships and developing new hobbies. The shed is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
